This wonderful novel is a generous, tangible effort by two Slaters who remember and are grateful to the town that helped raise them, Bangor, Pennsylvania. This book is intended to be a memoir, not a history. It is admittedly subjective joint recollection of life in our small town. The authors write not about what was, but of what they remember.

Goal
My objective was to seamlessly integrate the text, illustrations, and craft a captivating cover using the provided content. In addition to incorporating numerous quotes and anecdotes into the novel, we endeavored to infuse a hometown ambiance, accentuating it with script accents and employing highly legible body fonts—all while maintaining a timeless and traditional style.
